As curtains came down at the 37th edition of SPACE held from 12 to Thursday 14 September at the Rennes Exhibition Centre, in France, it marked another dense, dynamic and essential show.

Statistics indicate that 1,207 exhibitors were welcomed and over 91,000 professional visitors, coming from 122 different countries, were 12,125 visitors.

“These figures reflect a 23 percent increase in the number of international visitors, as well as a record number of countries represented,” said a statement from the organisers.

Organisers said the event exercised its role to the full as a high-quality event that is vital for the future of animal farming.

“With its abundance of opportunities to meet and share ideas, its highly committed exhibitors, its dynamic and enthusiastic visitors all keen to maintain and develop animal farming throughout the world, SPACE was a fantastic platform for all these stakeholder in the industry to find the keys to guaranteeing food sovereignty on a global scale.”
